Where a question of fiqh touches our services — what may be disclosed, to whom, and on whose authority — we involve Islamic scholarship rather than deciding it ourselves. We would rather ask than assume.

• —Photos are stored privately and served through links that expire. We strip location data from every upload before it is saved.
